Dr. Murphy began working in veterinary hospitals at the age of fifteen and attended Texas A&M University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science prior to attending the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2011. She is an Aggie through and through, enjoying the rich traditions of the campus and, of course, Fightin' Texas Aggie football.  

She particularly enjoys internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and client education.

Dr. Murphy and her husband have three young daughters. They share their home with two herding mixes, Sadie and Trudy (pictured), as well as a dark grey tabby, Davis. Dr. Murphy enjoys archery, kayaking, hiking, camping, cheering on Texas Rangers baseball, and hanging out with her tiny humans. The family enjoys road trips to national parks, and they’re working on visiting every state park in Texas.
