After completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 1979, Dr. Wied moved to the Mid-Cities area to begin practice. He is the founder of Mayfair Village Animal Hospital and is completing his 35th year in practice.

Professionally, Dr. Wied is an annual participant in the North American Veterinary Conference and embraces cutting-edge medicine. He has been actively involved in our community including working with various rescue groups, serving on community service boards, and participating in international medical mission trips through his church.

Dr. Wied loves all kinds of sports, boating, and spending time with his wife and family including their Chihuahua Trixie Jean and Peaches, their calico cat.
